CPM Mean?
CPM stands for "Cost Per Mille," meaning the amount advertisers pay for every 1,000 monetized ad impressions.
For creators, CPM is an important measurement because it helps determine how much advertising revenue can be generated from monetized video views. A $20 CPM means approximately $20 in advertising value for every 1,000 monetized ad impressions, before any applicable revenue-sharing arrangements, fees, or other deductions.
Important: 1,000 video views is not the same as 1,000 monetized ad impressions. Not every view generates an ad impression, and not every ad impression is monetized.
Depending on content, audience, geography, advertiser demand, platform conditions, monetization eligibility, and other factors, eligible content may achieve CPM levels in this range.
